That’s right! The book Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul” is being turned into a movie and 20th Century Fox is on the hunt for boys to star in the film! They are scouring the world to find the perfect child actors to take on some big roles!
About “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul”
A family road trip is supposed to be a lot of fun . . . unless, of course, you’re the Heffleys. The journey starts off full of promise, then quickly takes several wrong turns. Gas station bathrooms, crazed seagulls, a fender bender, and a runaway pig—not exactly Greg Heffley’s idea of a good time. But even the worst road trip can turn into an adventure—and this is one the Heffleys won’t soon forget.
Roles & Requirements
Seeking a bright, precocious, and appealing young actor to play age 10 – 12 for the lead role of Greg Heffley in the film version of the New York Times #1 bestseller, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul”. Actor must be able to handle dialogue and have a flair for ironic comedy – imagine Larry David in middle school…LEAD
Seeking a boy 10 – 12, broader and heftier than Greg, with a heartbreakingly open, honest, sweet face. Rowley is Greg’s best friend, despite the fact that he is constantly embarrassing him with his childish demeanor. Guileless, earnest and naive, he says exactly what’s on his mind and doesn’t have a bad bone in his body.

My name is Laura Eastmure I am 15 years old (turning 16 in September 30th) I’ve been acting and dancing since I was 13 and I wish I have started earlier. I have long blonde hair, I am 160cm (able to walk in heels of needed) and i am able to wear contacts. I go to Loreto College Ballarat and I’m from Melbourne, Australia. To be an extra would be a fantastic experience for me and would benefit me in my future preforming career. If you have anymore questions about me you can look me up on StarNow: Laura Eastmure
