“Empire” and “Hidden Figures” star Taraji P. Henson is filming a new movie and you can be in it! A “Best of Enemies” casting call has been released. Extras and featured extras are now being cast. Shooting will be in Atlanta, Georgia. The model and actor casting call is seeking to fill the featured role of a beauty queen, boy scout leaders, baseball team and players and thin men and women. The beauty queen role and boy scout leaders will shoot on Saturday, May 20th. Baseball team players are needed on Friday, June 2nd. About the Movie
The film is based on the incredible true story of Ann Atwater and C.P. Ellis. Henson will play Atwater, the ferocious civil rights activist in Durham, North Carolina. She had a decade-long battle with sworn enemy C.P. Ellis, the Exalted Cyclops of Durham’s Ku Klux Klan. Their feud came to an abrupt and unlikely end in 1971. After a court-ordered school desegregation decree threw the Southern city into turmoil, Atwater and Ellis reluctantly agreed to co-chair an intensive, two week community meeting to try to reach a compromise.
