Do you love HBO’s original series like “Game of Thrones” and “Westworld”? Their TV show “The Deuce” was a surprise hit and the network picked it up for season 2. It is now filming in New York City. Casting directors are on the search for SAG and non-union male actors. The 2018 casting call is looking for males to portray 1970’s basketball players. Filming will be on Thursday, May 31st or Monday, June 4th.
Actors can attend a costume fitting between May 29th and May 31st. For this project the team is looking for people with real basketball experience. About the Show
The show follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s, exploring the rough-and-tumble world that existed there until the rise of HIV, the violence of the cocaine epidemic and the renewed real estate market ended the bawdy turbulence of the area. The series is partly inspired by the career of twin brothers, Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino. [Deadline]

-Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke

Everyone must have 1970s appropriate hair to work (2+inches in length all around, no shaved heads, buzzcuts, shaved sides, edging, fades, braids, dreadlocks, etc)
*If you do not have 1970s appropriate, it is acceptable to provide your own wig!*
