Casting Call for Several Roles in Upcoming Short Film in Orlando
Lady Girl films is casting for the Untitled Steampunk Fantasy Short Film. It is a non-union short film that will shoot over two weekends. It will be a total of 6 days with shooting taking place about 6 to 8 hours a day.
About the Film
Growing up in Camp Vacant as Slave 0033321, Lotus is blind to the truth and the reality outside of her confined world. Lotus has never been allowed outside of the camp walls, so when her friend Brick disappears from camp, Lotus and her friends find the courage to escape Camp Vacant in the hopes of finding him. Along their journey, Lotus and her friends realize the problems are bigger than just Brick’s rescue as they discover that only a select few citizens control all of the city of Iron Haven’s natural resources. With help from the Hackers, a teenage underground militia group of outcasts, Lotus and her friends set out to unravel Iron Haven’s darkest secrets as they uncover the truth of the city’s past.

Notes: Punk has been a slave in Camp Vacant all his life. He is the baby of the group, Punk is like a younger version on Brick, he looks up to him. Punk is fresh out of Camp Vacant “School” and has just been placed in his sector. Rowdy, Smart ass, but loving and will protect his friends…very persistent. ATHLETIC

Caucasian, Light brown curly or wavy hair (natural) Light eyes, ( Glasses, a few freckles on the face is a plus, but not necessary) thin body type

Caucasian, fair skin, Auburn, Red or Brownish red hair, hair is flowy (natural) Green eyes (light or dark) Brick has the beginnings of a bread.

Notes: Brick has been a slave in Camp Vacant all his life. Brick is apart of the earth mover sector of camp, they do all the heavy outside jobs. Brick is rugged, strong, loyal and quick tempered. Protects his family. ( Tattoos a plus, but necessary) Must be ATHLETIC

Character Description: 16 years old , 5’9 to 5’11
Black or Mixed American, brown or black hair ( one side shaved is a PLUS, but not necessary) light or dark brown eyes

Notes; Paige has grown up free outside of the camp walls. She is the leader of “The Hackers” a group of underground teenage militia. Strong girl.
