Do you want consistent work on a TV show? There is a new opportunity that could land you that job! Stephen King’s novel “Mr. Mercedes” is being turning into a television series and casting directors are looking to hire a core group of detective and police officer types for ongoing work. Actors who are selected for these roles will be needed for filming each time they are at the station or outside of the station. You will be filming for numerous days per episode so you must have an open schedule. This is a really great way to have an ongoing role on the series so if you fit the role and have open availability this is a spectacular job to get. The new show will be filming in Charleston, South Carolina.

About the Show

Mr. Mercedes centers on a demented killer who taunts a retired police detective with a series of lurid letters and emails, forcing the ex-cop to undertake a private, and potentially felonious, crusade to bring the killer to justice before he can strike again. Gleeson will play Detective Bill Hodges, a retired cop who is driven out of retirement after an old nemesis reappears, while Yelchin will portray Brady Hartsfield, a mentally deranged ice cream truck driver and IT worker for Cyber Patrol (aka Geek Squad) who is secretly the Mercedes Killer. Roles & Requirements

Mr. Mercedes -Seeking a “CORE GROUP OF POLICE DETECTIVE TYPES” along with additional extras portraying Police officers and Detectives….this core group will be needed each time we are at the station or these detectives are needed outside of the station.

All Races, Males and a few Females. Males should have shorter neat haircuts. Please be aware this 8-10 Detectives will be established at certain desk and needed numerous days per episode…so please do NOT submit for this if you do not have such availability.

These 8-10 do not have to be actual Police officers….however if you have such experience please include such in your submission or avail message.

If already on file with a previous submission -you can send a message stating you would be avail and wish to be considered with heading POSS CORE DETECTIVE.
