HBO has picked up their popular series “Silicon Valley” for a fourth season and you have the chance to work on it! Male actors who have an athletic build and who play basketball are now being cast for background extra roles. Casting directors are searching Oakland, California for local men to work on the series. The TV show casting call is looking to fill the roles of Venture Capitalists and Techies. Filming is currently set for Tuesday, February 7th, 2017 so you must be available on this day if you would like to be considered.

Roles & Requirements

Casting is seeking Men 25-35 who play Basketball and have Athletic Builds

Looking for men in really good physical shape with lean, toned and muscular bodies that are comfortable playing basketball with their shirts off.

Local (or close to) Oakland, California

Some of the background should be able to dunk and real experience playing basketball is essential (but no professionals).

Filming is expected to begin as early as 6am in the Oakland area, and everyone must be available for a full 8 hour shoot day. The SAG-AFTRA background rate is $162 for 8hrs. If you are not SAG then you must be able to receive a SAG Waiver (Taft Hartley). No Must Joins!

I-9 paperwork will be filled out on set. U.S. Citizens must present a current U.S. Passport OR two forms of ID: a valid Drivers License or State Photo ID card with either Social Security Card or Birth Certificate. Non U.S. citizens must present current Green Card, Permanent Resident Card or Dept. of Homeland Security Work Authorization card.
