A new dance casting call for the upcoming Zac Efron movie “The Greatest Showman on Earth” is here! The audition notice is searching for females who are ages 9 to 19 years old who have mid to high level experience on pointe ballet. Kids and teens will portray young pointe ballerinas for a recital and dance class scenes. New York City is where “The Greatest Showman on Earth” is filming. About the Movie
Hugh Jackman will play the showman with a specialty in hoaxing a gullible public as he creates the three-ring Barnum & Bailey Circus that made him famous. Barnum gained fame as a 19th century impresario with tours of Tom Thumb and the singer Jenny Lind; he began calling it the “Greatest Show on Earth” near the end of his career. Zac Efron would play Barnum’s right-hand man. Williams will play Jackman’s love interest and Zendaya will play a trapeze artist.

Roles & Requirements
GWC is seeking SAGAFTRA & Non-Union Caucasian Female Pointe Dancers to portray 1800s Young Pointe Ballerinas for recital and dance class scenes.
Seeking ages 9-19 who can portray pre-teen/early teens.
MUST have mid-high experience level on pointe.
There will be two rehearsals in January- dates TBD.
Tentatively works on 1/20 and 2/16.
All minors must have valid NY child performer work permit and valid trust account.
Rate: SAG principal group dancer contract
