Casting Several Roles for Music Video in Austin
Michael Druck Casting is seeking a wide variety of male actors as well as males with real football experience for Emily Bell & The Talkback’s new single “Can’t Talk Back to Me”. They are seeking all body types from the traditional football players build to skinny/character types. People with real football experience and or comedic/improv skills are strongly encouraged to apply. This Music Video is being directed by. Bryan Poyser whose Narrative film credits include: Love and Air Sex, More Than Four Hours, The Fickle, and Dear Pillow.

A football coach is completely discouraged by the lack of competent players trying out for his team until Emily Bell shows up and schools everyone.

Roles & Requirements

ASSISTANT COACH – MALE, any ethnicity, Age Range: late 20’s – 30’s, serious, focused, younger than the coach.
WATERBOY – MALE, late teens – early 20’s, he follows the coach around with a big umbrella to shield him from the sun, has the coach’s water bottle (and flask) at the ready. Think “Gary” from VEEP or “Buster” from ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT.
LINEMAN- MALE, any ethnicity, open age range, large build, former football experience a plus. Dopey personality, slow reactions. **Missing teeth a plus**
QUARTERBACK- MALE, any ethnicity, 20’s – early 30’s, Pretty boy, former big man on campus on his way to the big leagues, all american male.
KICKER- MALE, any ethnicity, late teens – mid 20’s, skinny frame, dorky personality, misses the ball every kick.
NERVOUS LINEBACKER- MALE, any ethnicity, 20’s-30’s, large frame, afraid to tackle.

Please include a headshot or recent photo, resume if you have one, contact number, let us know if you are available Wednesday (audition) and Friday (possible call back) and if you have any conflicts the week of August 14th. Lastly please let us know if you have any experience playing football. If you have an agent please submit through them first for scheduling purposes. You do not need one to submit.
