Showtime is gearing up to film the last episode of their new show “The Chi”. Season 1 is coming to an end, but you have a chance to help bring the series to life! A TV show casting call is looking for models and actors. Casting directors need men and women ages 18 through 80 to be extras. Talent are being hired to portray pedestrians, corner boys, lookie loos, crime scene investigators, perpetrators, food truck workers, pedestrians and lawyers. The series films in Chicago, Illinois so you must be local to be considered. Shooting will take place on Tuesday, September 19th, Wednesday, September 20th, Thursday, September 21st, Friday, September 22nd and Monday, September 25th. This is a paid acting job that will compensate actors $88.00 for 8 hours.
About the Show
The Chi is a relevant, timely and distinctive coming-of-age story and follows a half dozen interrelated characters in the South Side of Chicago. Mitchell will play Brandon, an ambitious and confident young man who dreams about opening a restaurant of his own someday, but is conflicted between the promise of a new life and his responsibility to his mother and teenage brother back in the South Side.
