Dear Tyra,
A beautiful woman once said, “All girls of all kind can be beautiful- from the thin, plus-sized, short, very tall, ebony to porcelain-skinned; the quirky, clumsy, shy, outgoing and all in between. It’s not easy though because many people still put beauty into a confining, narrow box … think outside of the box … “
So why not break that box? Why not give the chance to anybody and everybody to have a shot at making their dreams come true?
AMNTM has already defied so many limitations that the modeling world has has always said wasn’t possible, from having males on the show, transvestites, androgynous sex, albino, blind, short, white, black, latino, poverty stricken straight from the hood, children, etc. So why not combine all that unique beauty and do a completely uncensored season? Why put limitations to beauty when beauty itself has no limitations? Why have a weight/height/or sex requirement, when the world is bursting with beautiful passionate people from ALL walks of life just waiting for their chance to show case it?
I’ve grown up- literally- watching ANTM, starry eyed, for as long as I can remember, practicing the faces, angles, body positions, and all creative/personal input you’ve taught millions for the past years. But being only 5’5”, I never thought I’d have the chance to model. But now? I’m not letting anything stop me or crush my dreams I’ve secretly held all my life. So I started with photography, and through that, have become modeling for friends, freelancers, and clothing companies.. the impossible just became the possible!
I can’t help but think, what if… what if, we broke those boundaries, maybe there’s another Kate Moss out there, sitting at home, thinking her limitations are equivalent to her height, or her weight, or her financial stability. The power you have in your hands, and we all have, is unfathomable, nowadays, there is so much golden opportunity just dripping on the streets, in our homes, on our televisions, and in the beauty magazines we read while waiting in line at the grocery store. My generation has no excuse to not let our dreams unfold before our eyes. I truly believe that everyday is a new chance to prove everyone else wrong, to defy the rules, and to let myself feel happy, be beautiful, confident, and strong, no matter what people say think or do, it doesn’t matter.
That is why I’m writing this letter, to ask you, personally, to be the first person, ever, to not set a bar of worldly perfection, to give all humans the chance to do what they love most, or even more important, giving them that light at the end of the tunnel. You have the power to give ordinary people an unordinary experience, and if you truly think that people of all kinds can be beautiful and advocate to think outside of the box, and love themselves for themselves, why not prove it? Do the impossible. You are the impossible. We all are the impossible.

I am that versatile fun, loving, energetic, and intellectual girl that everyone looks for in a female model. I have a bubbly personality and it always shows within and threw me in everything I do. I love to have fun, especially when it comes to something I enjoy doing such as acting, modeling, and dancing. But when its time to get serious I know how to switch it up, I believe that comes from the actress within me. I love taking pictures and I believe the camera loves me.
