Chicago P.D., the NBC series, is now casting men and women for several background actor roles! The fourth season that will premiere on September 22nd, is now filming. Casting directors are looking to fill the roles of detectives, lawyers, perps, neighborhood pedestrians with cars, kids, young teens and Chinatown residents. About the Show
At the center of “Chicago P.D.” is Detective Sgt. Hank Voight (Jason Beghe), who is at ground zero against the war on crime in Chicago. He will do anything to bring criminals to justice. Handpicked as the head of the unit is Voight, who has assembled a team of diverse detectives who share his passion and commitment to keeping the city safe. They include Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda), who is more levelheaded and “by the book” than his counterpart; Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer), a brash young cop who previously saw active military duty in Afghanistan; Halstead’s partner Erin Lindsay (Sophia Bush), a former “bad girl” who turned her life around with Voight’s help; Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas), an experienced undercover detective and confidante for Voight; Adam Ruzek (Patrick John Flueger), a quick-witted cadet plucked from the police academy as Olinsky’s partner; and Kevin Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins), a charismatic patrolman who was recently brought upstairs. Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and her new desk partner, Julie Tay (Li Jun Li), work the streets on a daily basis as uniform patrol officers and cooperate with Intelligence whenever necessary. SUBMISSION TITLE: “KNIFE WOUND”
FILM DATE: Thursday, August 24th; morning call time, on location outside of the Bridgeport neighborhood
ROLES: Neighborhood Pedestrians w/ Auto (everyone must submit with their own car) for a Crime Scene, & Neighborhood Kids (Ages: 7-14YO)
SPECS: M/F, Ages: 7-older, Adults must have a car (no red or white), for a mixed neighborhood scene: Primarily a Latino/African American neighborhood. ‘Neighborhood kids’ must have an existing Minor Work Permit
PAY RATE: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that; IF booked with your auto: +$35 Auto Bump
SUBMISSION TITLE: “WANGFUJING STREET”
FILMS: Thursday, August 25th; on location in Chicago’s Chinatown
SCENES: Chinatown street corner/Shopping area (May be an early afternoon call time and film into the early evening for a night sequence)
ROLES: ASIAN Americans, M/F, Ages: 16-Older, to play Chicago’s Chinatown Residents w/ Auto, Tour Guides, Shop Owners, etc.
PAY RATE: $84/8 hours and time and one half for anything after that. IF booked with auto = $35 Auto Bump added to your pay out.
