Casting for Hispanic Boys For Speaking Role In Fox TV Show Pilot

Casting directors in Illinois are holding auditions for Speaking Roles for a new FOX pilot TV series The Exorcist. The show is based off of horror classic. Karge & Ross Casting are looking for a child actor for the speaking role in the episode. The network says the show is “a propulsive, serialized psychological thriller following two very different men tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession, and confronting the face of true evil.” It will be a modern take on the old cult classic film.

They are looking for a Hispanic male for the role of Luis. He is a heavy set bookish type is about 11 or 12 years old. Parents, if you are interested having your child be considered, read all of the details below and follow the instruction. In order to be considered, kids must live in the Chicago area and must have a valid Illinois work permit or be able to get one right away if chosen. The casting team will be holding in person auditions for the show.

Casting Details and Requirements

Location: Chicago

Speaking Role for: “Luis”

Auditions being held for the following role:
Boy, Hispanic, 11 or 12 YRS OLD, a heavyset, bookish kid, Luis hangs out with his uncle Tomas. Though he’s shy about how things are going at school, he appreciates the fatherly love he receives from his uncle.

You must have a current IL work permit through their casting company or a local talent agency. If you do not have a current work permit for your child and you get called in to audition, you must be prepared to get the Work Permit ASAP*

How To Submit

If interested and available, please send an email to exorcistcasting@gmail.com with the following:

1) Subject Line: LUIS

2) Include your name, age, height and weight along with email and phone number.

3) Give us a brief description of your child’s acting experience or on set experience. If he does not have any experience, please list that as well.

4) Attach a headshot and/or candid photo or headshot in JPEG format. Make sure the photo is taken in decent lighting (no selfies), no sunglasses. Show us your style but make sure we can see your face! If you happen to have a photo of yourself in scrubs or lab coat, please send in that photo.

NOTE: Rename the title of your photo with your Full Name. You should do this with all of your submission photos.

5) List if your child has a current IL work permit and list the employer that is listed on the Work Permit.

You will be contacted by the casting director if they are interested in auditioning your child for the role.
