Are you looking for a new acting job? The intriguing series “Underground” that airs on WGN is now casting background actors. Men and women who are local to Savannah, Georgia are now being cast for an upcoming scene. Filming will be on November 1st. About the Show

“Underground” is set in 1857 and follows a group of slaves who make the dangerous decision to plan a daring escape from a Georgia plantation to journey 600 miles north to freedom. The series stars Christopher Meloni, Aldis Hodge, Jurnee Smollett-Bell.

Roles & Requirements

For Tuesday, Nov 1st, we’ll need the following background actors:

*50 Pedestrians (70% Caucasians, 30% African Americans), ages 16 and older, all genders… Can be repeat background actors, or can be new faces, just can’t be the Gullah Community background actors whom we’ve already established.

Background actors need to be local to Savannah GA, or can work as a local (meaning you have local friends/family that you can stay with) as production will not pay for travel.
