Casting Call for Men & Women for Starz TV Show in Oklahoma
The upcoming Starz series, American Gods will be filming in Oklahoma and casting directors are looking for men and women to play passersby and bicyclists. The show will be filming on Sunday, June 12th. The casting team is in need of background actors who are available on the shoot date to work the paid job.
About the Show
The plot of “American Gods” posits a war brewing between old and new gods: the traditional gods of mythological roots from around the world steadily losing believers to an upstart pantheon of gods reflecting society’s modern love of money, technology, media, celebrity and drugs. Its protagonist, Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), is an ex-con who becomes bodyguard and traveling partner to Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane), a conman with personal ties to the battle between the deities. Roles & Requirements
Extras to play bicyclists and general passersby are needed Sunday, June 12, in Ponca City, OK to appear in a television series for a major cable network.
Applicants must be 18-75 and have proof of Oklahoma residency.
Those submitting as a bicyclist should include a photo of their bicycle and they must be willing to bring it to the shoot.
Pay will be $75/day. No travel allowance will be paid.
You must be available all day on the day of filming. No partial days allowed.
