Casting Call for Men & Women for Several Role in PBS Series in Petersburg, VA
The PBS television series “Mercy Street” is now looking for men and women to be extras for Season 2 of the show. Casting directors are looking to fill the roles of spies, hookers, dead soldiers a baby and father. This is a great opportunity to be on a national television series and gain some on-set experience.
About the Show
Mercy Street goes beyond the front lines of the Civil War and into the chaotic world of the Mansion House Hospital in Union-occupied Alexandria, Virginia. Mercy Street takes viewers beyond the battlefield and into the lives of Americans on the Civil War home front as they face the unprecedented challenges of one of the most turbulent times in our nation’s history. The show is inspired by real people and real events.

For SATURDAY – May 14 (shooting in Petersburg):
Subject: SPIES (white men 20-50) – GREAT character faces – facial hair, scars, etc.
Subject: HOOKERS (white women 20-30) – dress size 0-6. Natural color hair.
Subject: DEAD SOLDIERS (white men 18-40) MUST be available for a matching shot on Thursday, May 19.
For WEDNESDAY – May 18 (shooting near Petersburg):
Subject: GRACE’S BABY – white baby (or twins or triplets!) 8-10 months old.
Dates TBD (Shooting in Richmond):
Subject: THE FATHER – Looking for a white male, distinguished, 50s to play “The Father.” Facial hair is preferred. Big brown eyes would be great too.
The non-union rate is $64/8
