Want a featured role in a new feature film? Michael Cera is in Columbus, Indiana filming his new movie “Columbus”. The “Superbad” actor’s new movie is seeking a Caucasian male to play a love interest in the film. Casting directors are accepting submissions from men who are 45 to 55 years old. This is a really important role and will be selected off of photos by the director.
About the Movie
The story follows the character of the Korean-born Jin (played by Korean-born John Cho, currently starring as Sulu in “Star Trek Beyond”), 29, who recently left the University of Cambridge without a doctorate in literature and now is translating books for a publisher in Seoul. He suddenly finds himself stuck in Columbus, where his architect father lies hospitalized in a coma after a visit here to study noted structures. Jin waits and secretly hopes for his father to die. In contrast, Casey, 19 (played by Haley Lu Richardson of ABC Family’s “Ravenswood”), a blue-collar, worldly and bright young woman, wants to stay in Columbus with her mother, a recovering addict, instead of pursuing her own dreams. We do not have a Call Time yet so you would need to be fully 100% available on work date. Tentative Wrap Time 1:00AM. MUST be available ALL DAY!! You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $32.00 for 4 hours ($8.00/hour with a 4 hour guarantee). You will be paid the hourly rate for anything over 4 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 1-164 business days AFTER you work. (*to those of you who have previously been asked to work as a Volunteer extra and are confused as to why we are offering pay for these extras – it is because this is a late night shoot)
–We will not be providing mileage/gas reimbursement or accommodations to anyone working as background talent on this project. You are responsible for your own transportation and local accommodation.–
Location is in the COLUMBUS, INDIANA area, so you must be local
