Casting Call for Men, Women & Children for “Mercy Street”
Casting directors are now accepting submissions for season 2 of the TV series “Mercy Street”. Filming will begin on April 18th in Richmond and Petersburg, Virginia.
About “Mercy Street”
The series that is inspired by real people and events, Mercy Street goes beyond the front lines of the Civil War and into the chaotic world of the Mansion House Hospital in Union-occupied Alexandria, Virginia. Mercy Street takes viewers beyond the battlefield and into the lives of Americans on the Civil War home front as they face the unprecedented challenges of one of the most turbulent times in our nation’s history.

Filming Location: Richmond and Petersburg, VA
Filming Dates: April 16th, May 2nd, May 3rd (depending on role)
Ages: All – Men, Women and Children
Pay Rate: The non-union rate is $64/8.
Requirements for Application
Today, casting directors are pulling submissions for a role that will work Saturday of an officer (ages 20-35, Caucasian male). Looking for guys who have NOT been fit. (Subject: OFFICERS).
Also scheduling fittings the two categories below for tomorrow.
CONTRABAND – Thin, lean African American men, women, and children to work in Petersburg, VA on May 2 and May 4. (There will be other dates as well, but everyone who is fit MUST be available these two days.) (Subject: Contraband May 2)
TOWNSPEOPLE – Caucasian men and women (MUST BE OVER 18 and not in school) to work May 3 in Petersburg. (There will be other dates as well, but everyone submitting, must be available this date.) Ladies, due to the period wardrobe, I need all your sizes in the submission. Also, we need ladies with shoulder length hair (natural color) or longer. (Subject: May 3)
