Jennifer Aniston is starring in the new movie “Dumplin” and you could be in it! The Friends star is in Atlanta, Georgia for the upcoming shoot. Casting directors are looking for models and actors to be extras. They are looking for people in their 20’s – 55 years old. Available roles include lifeguards, pool employees, middle America townies and Dolly Pardon impersonators. Filming will be in Atlanta on August 21st, August 28th, August 31st and September 28th. This is going to be a really fun shoot . “Dumplin” is based on a novel that follows a teen who is obsessed with Dolly Pardon. About the Movie
Dumplin is based on the acclaimed Julie Murphy YA novel. The heroine is Willowdean, a confident, plus-sized, teen who is obsessed with all things Dolly Parton. To spite her mom (Aniston), Willowdean enlists some friends to join the local pageant – and what starts as an impulsive one-day protest snowballs as Will inadvertently becomes the inspiration for a ragtag group of teenage outcasts joining the pageant. Given her “insider” perspective on her mother’s pageant world she had long scorned, Will gains new respect for her mom who, in turn, comes to admire a daughter she’s finally able to see, and love, for who she really is.
