Jack Black and two-time Academy Award winning actress Cate Blanchette are starring in a new movie. A kids casting call for “The House with a Clock on its Walls” is searching for boys and girls. This is a fabulous audition for children who are 8 to 12 years old. While this project is looking for all ethnicities only kids who have not yet worked on the movie are being considered. A fitting will be held this week between Tuesday, November 7th and Saturday, November 11th.

This is the chance for children to be in a movie for multiple days! Filming will be during the day for four to five days. It will shoot between December 4th and December 15th. There will not be any shooting on the weekends. Parents who want to submit their kids must make sure they are fully available during that time frame. Because the movie takes place in the 1950’s, boys will have their hair cut to match the era.

About the Movie

“The House With a Clock in Its Walls,” is an adaptation of the 1973 John Bellairs book illustrated by Edward Gorey. Eli Roth is directing. The novel tells the tale of a recently orphaned 10-year-old boy who discovers a world of hidden passageways, magic, and danger in his uncle’s old house. [Variety]

1. We need SOME of the kids for a GYM class, so if you have a GIRL who is in gymnastics, or a boy who can play basketball or football , please list that info (see below)
2. If you have more than one child in this age range, submit them together. We cannot guarantee that all siblings will be selected, but we try.

Monday thru Friday
*Kids will be chosen for 4 to 5 dates in that time frame so you must be completely open to work that many days during that time frame!!!

Pay rate – $80 for 8 hours with OT after that
