A new children’s movie casting notice is giving your child the opportunity to start or further their career in acting. The new casting call for the movie “Come Sunday” is searching for African American boys who can portray 4 years old. The movie stars Hollywood powerhouses Robert Redford, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Danny Glover. Because filming is in Atlanta, Georgia the team is only accepting submissions from local kids. Marinella Hume Casting will be holding auditions for kids for the Netflix movie on Tuesday, January 3rd. Selected children will film for five days on January 19th, 20th, 25th, 31st and February 16th.
About the Movie
The film is based on a This American Life episode from 2005 chronicling the story of Carlton Pearson, a renowned evangelical minister in Tulsa, Okla., who stirs up controversy with his revelation that there is no hell. He loses everything and must rebuild his church and his family and find his own personal faith.
