Are you looking to gain acting experience? Do you want to be a part of a national film competition? This Saturday April 22nd we’re hosting a casting call for our entry into Cannes 48 Hour Film Project, which is a wild weekend where you make a movie – write, shoot, edit and score it – in just 48 hours!! Each city selects a winner, with a chance to have the film featured at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. If you would like to be an actor is this fun experience, this is the casting call for you!
About the 48 Hour Project
The 48 Hour Film Project is a wild and sleepless weekend in which you and a team make a movie – write, shoot, and edit – in just 48 hours. On Friday night, teams draw a genre from a hat. They are then given a character, prop and line to include in their films. On Sunday night, in a wild dash to the drop off event, the film is turned in – and teams celebrate. The film is then screened at a local theater in front of an audience of filmmakers, friends and families. [48 Hr Film Project]

Roles & Requirements
We are looking for actors of all ages and ethnic/cultural and acting backgrounds. Please bring your headshot and actors resume (if you have one). A short monologue will be provided. If you do not have resume or if you are interested in being part of the crew please fill this out.
Although this is a nonunion, unpaid gig, it’s a great opportunity to spend a few days working and quickly see the finished product, have fun and get some extra footage for your reel! Our crew is positive, passionate and dependable you’re sure to make a new friend.
