Are you a skilled hockey or basketball player? Gatorade wants you to be in their new commercial! There is a new casting call that is looking for highly skilled hockey and basketball players who played on a semi-pro level or in college. This is a marvelous opportunity to star in a national TV commercial. Auditions are being held for men who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years old.
Filming will be in Chicago, Illinois between February 21st and February 27th. Pay will be scale SAG-AFTRA rates since this is a union shoot. While the auditions are open to all highly skilled athletes, producers are specifically seeking a basketball player who is close to 220 lbs and 6’9 along with a hockey player who is close to 5’10 and 177 lbs. This is an awesome chance to gain national exposure and show off your skills!
About Gatorade
In early summer of 1965, a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of university physicians and asked them to determine why so many of his players were being affected by heat and heat related illnesses. The researchers — Dr. Robert Cade, Dr. Dana Shires, Dr. H. James Free and Dr. Alejandro de Quesada soon discovered two key factors that were causing the Gator players to ‘wilt’: the fluids and electrolytes the players lost through sweat were not being replaced, and the large amounts of carbohydrates the players’ bodies used for energy were not being replenished. Roles & Requirements
PR casting is searching for highly skilled basketball and hockey players for a Gatorade commercial. The team is looking for men 18-35 who have played collegiate or semi-pro in either basketball or hockey. They are also looking for professional Referees who can skate/play hockey.
Auditions are Mon. 2/13 & Tues 2/14.
This is a SAG-AFTRA commercial, if booked pay is based on scale rates (min. $600). To be considered, in addition to coming to the auditions, you need to be available for a possible callback on Fri. 2/17 and if hired, shoot is 2/21-2/24 for the basketball shoot and 2/27 for the hockey shoot.
This casting call is open to highly skilled players but very specifically looking for a Basketball player who is close to 6’9″ and 220lbs AND a Hockey player who is close to 5’10” and 177lbs.
