The CW Casting Call for The Vampire Diaries in Atlanta
Everyone’s favorite vampire show, “The Vampire Diaries”, is now casting for its 8th season. Casting directors are in need of some extras that will be filming on July 21st and July 25th. They are looking for nerdy types, reporter types and business types for different background roles in the show. “The Vampire Diaries” films in Atlanta, Georgia so actors who apply must be local to the area to be considered.
About the Show
The Vampire Diaries is now filming its eighth season. The show follows a teenage girl Elena (played by Nina Dobrev), who is torn between two vampire brothers Stefan (played by Paul Wesley) and Damon (played by Ian Somerhalder). The show is so popular that The CW launched a spin-off series called “The Originals”.

Casting directors are seeking men and women to be extras for two scenes in Decatur, Georgia. Actors should expect to work a minimum of 10 to 12 hours. The pay rate is $60.00 for 8 hours and overtime after 8 hours.
Roles & Requirements
“The Vampire Diaries” is now in need of men and women who are available on July 21st or July 25th (depending on the role) for 10 to 12 hours of filming. They are seeking men and women to portray interns, news anchors as well as news crew.
