Casting Men for Nicholas Cage film “Vengeance: A Love Story” in Atlanta
There is a new casting call that has been released for extras from New Life Casting for the upcoming Nicholas Cage film “Vengeance” A Love Story.” They are looking for strong and fit guys to play police officers as well as a male to play a customer at a tattoo parlor.
About the Movie
The screenplay of the film is based off of a novel by Joyce Carol Oats in 2003. According to Variety, “Oates’ novel centers on the aftermath a gang rape, with the victim left for dead in a park boathouse. The woman is a single mother in her 30s, and the attack is witnessed by her daughter — whose credibility is attacked at the subsequent trial. A policeman who is a Gulf War veteran becomes her unexpected champion”. Cage is also set to direct the film. According to Deadline, the film will star Cage as a Niagra Falls Police detective who becomes impassioned with a case concerning the brutal rape of a young mother of a 12 year old girl. When the meth-head rapists are caught, their parents hire a slick criminal defense attorney who then puts the victim on trial. The story is how this crime affects three generations of women — the mother, the 12-year-old and the grandmother (mother of the rape victim)”.
