Casting Call for Extras for CMT TV Show Filming in Memphis

Million Dollar Quartet is now looking for extras to work on the series event. The CMT television show will be filming in Memphis, Tennessee and casting directors are now looking for extras for a shoot that will take place on May 24th.

About the Show

Million Dollar Quartet is a coming-of-age story set in Memphis during the tumultuous early days of the civil rights movement, and tells the untold true story of nothing less than the birth of rock ‘n’ roll. Guided by Sam Phillips, young musicians like Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis combined the styles of hillbilly country with the 1950s R&B sound created by artists like Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Fats Domino and Ike Turner, and changed the course of music forever. The series chronicles these young artists’ often jarring and sudden meteoric rise to fame in the face of sweeping political change and social unrest. [CMT]

They do not have Call Times so you would need to be fully 100% available on work dates. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!

Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.

They will not be providing mileage/gas reimbursement or accommodations to anyone working as background talent on this project. You are responsible for your own transportation and local accommodation.
Location is in the MEMPHIS, TN area.
